This is the best Indian restaurant in the Tampa Bay Area hands down. The food is delectable. The service is amazing. Cea was attentive at all times. The Sunday lunch buffet is worth writing home about. The goat curry, the butter chicken, the dhal, the sambar. Everything. Perfect. Thank you and we will be back!

After the close of Little India (the previous restaurant), I decided to give this place a try. I went to have lunch with my brother, upon arrival the interior was noted to be more upscale than before. We were told that they do a lunch special (chicken curry with rice/naan) for $14.99 Mon-Thurs and a lunch buffet Fri-Sun from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and then they re-open for dinner at 5:30 PM. We were seated immediately, and ordered our food/drinks. Vindaloo is my go-to dish and was ultimately what I ordered along with some chicken-tikka naan and some onion bhaji/chicken 65 as an appetizer. The food arrived freshly prepared and piping hot. The onion bhaji had a bold flavor and fluffy batter, the chicken 65 had a crispy exterior and a wet spice mixture with onions, unlike any other chicken 65 I have tasted (in a good way). The vindaloo itself (see picture) is very different from other vindaloo's I have had, the flavor itself was more delicate, yet the spices/flavors (ginger, garlic, tomato, vinegar, etc) were still very pronounced and enjoyable. All day buffet : Hot, fresh, flavorful, presents well. Clean and server very available and helpful. Atmosphere was pleasantly relaxing and clean.

We tried the Sunday lunch buffet. Overall I like they updated the interior. Much better than before. The food was ok. I would have preferred more flavor and more spice, but it was good. Chai was goood, and love that they have Golub Jamun for dessert.

We visited Delhi Place in the Clearwater Orlando area which used to be Little India. It had been a week since we last had Indian food and we were excited to try it. The food was good quality but some dishes could be better. The aloo baingan was not fully cooked, the goat curry pieces were a bit tough and I did not enjoy the coconut chutney or sambar. My kid loved the cheese dosa. My little one enjoyed the butter chicken with naan, basmati rice and biryani. Saif from Kolkata was very kind and helpful. They don’t have huge options of food but enough to enjoy. The palak was nice, the pakoras were tasty and the biryani was good though different from Pakistani style. I wish they served more dal makhani and refilled naan and other food more generously. For dessert they had only one item that is vermicelli kheer for our palate it’s very sweet but the aroma was fantastic. Food comes out in small batches but everything was served hot and fresh. They also have an a la carte menu. Worth trying if you are in the area and craving Indian food. Adult buffet weekend price $18.99 Kids: weekend price $8.99
